Christal Lok is Chinese and Australian, born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. She currently resides as an uninvited guest on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded land of the Kwikwetlem peoples in B.C., Canada.

She is a graduate from the Justice Institute of British Columbia with a Diploma of Law Enforcement Studies. Furthermore, learning about Indigenous peoples including their history, culture, and traditions. She originally wanted to pursue a career in Law Enforcement, but realized that wasn’t the right career path. However, working with the Restorative Justice Association of British Columbia will give her a chance to pursue a different career path that she is passionate about.

She is very excited about starting this role as an Administrative Assistant because she is very passionate about Restorative Justice. She has personally been a victim of crime; therefore, wants to be able to help others that have been in similar and different positions as she has. She is ecstatic to be working closely with Christianne Paras and constantly learning more about Restorative Justice and what values it can bring to her personally.
