Attention all RJABC members and the larger RJ community. We are hosting our Annual General Meeting, Monday November 20 from 6-8pm via zoom. Please join us for the business portion which will be followed by a guest speaker (announcement coming soon!). The theme of this year’s AGM is “Decolonization and Restorative Justice”.
We are also seeking new Board members at RJABC! The nomination and recommendation for selection to the RJABC Board of Directors will be conducted in the new year and will be based on the following criteria: regional RJ program representation, community and justice stakeholders representation, as well as consideration of skills, knowledge, and experience for the strategic advancement of the Association. The nominees will be selected for a two-year term by the Board Selection Committee and elected by the Board of Directors. If there are more applications than seats available (3 seats available) on the Board, we will offer a process in which the membership can vote on the selected nominees. The application process for RJABC Board of Directors closes on January 7, 2022.
