One of the core mandates of RJABC is to support restorative justice programs and practitioners, such as yourself. We realize that this will require both establishing meaningful relationships with those doing this work in the community and having a clear mutual understanding of program needs. With these goals in mind, we are embarking on a Listening Project, with the aim of connecting with staff and/or volunteers from all programs in BC who identify as providing restorative justice services.

We understand that restorative justice programs and practitioners have diverse needs and interests around how to engage in projects such as this. Therefore, we have provided the following options for how you can participate in the Listening Project.

Phone interview: We estimate it will be around 40 minutes in length.
Focus groups: You have the option of us conducting one within your agency that would be attended by up to 6 staff and/or volunteers. Or you could participate in a focus groups with around 5 people representing different restorative justice programs throughout BC. Focus groups will run about 1 hour.
Online survey: We estimate it will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
The information that we gather through the Listening Project will be anonymized and compiled into a report that will be made available on RJABC’s website. When it’s available, we will alert you via email.

If you would like to participate please click here to provide your program information and select your preferred method of participation. We will follow up shortly with further information and next steps.
